Who we are

Areviah is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada. For privacy requests, questions, or legal notices, contact areviah1@gmail.com.

This policy covers this website and the Areviah waitlist. The Areviah app has not launched. When it does, it will have its own privacy policy covering the data it handles, published before you can sign up for it.

What we collect

The email address you submit to the waitlist. That is the only information this website asks you for. Alongside it we store which page the form was submitted from and the date you submitted it. There are no accounts, no profiles, and no other form on this site.

We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, or any third-party tracking on this website. Nothing about your visit is recorded for marketing, measurement, or profiling purposes.

Error monitoring. If something on this site breaks, a report is sent to Sentry, an error-monitoring service, so that we can find and fix the fault. Such a report is created only when an error actually occurs — not on an ordinary visit — and contains technical diagnostic information such as the error message, the page it happened on, and your browser type and version. We have configured it not to collect your IP address, and it never receives your email address. It is not used to track you or to measure traffic.

Our hosting provider automatically keeps standard technical request logs (which may include your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for security and reliability, in the ordinary way every web server does. We do not use those logs to build any profile of you.

Why we collect it, and what we do with it

A single purpose: to email you when Areviah is available, plus the occasional message directly about that launch. We rely on your consent, which you give by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time.

We do not sell your email address, rent it, trade it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We will not use it for unrelated promotions, and we will not add it to any list you did not ask to join.

Where it is stored

Waitlist emails are stored in a database hosted by Supabase, and this website is hosted by Vercel. Error reports, described above, are processed by Sentry. All three act as service providers processing data on our behalf, and all three may store or process data on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held in another country is subject to that country's laws, which can include lawful access requests by its courts and government agencies.

The waitlist table is configured so that entries can be added but not read back through the public interface of the site, and data is transmitted over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise — but the only thing at stake here is an email address.

How long we keep it

Until Areviah launches and we have told you about it, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If the project is discontinued before launch, the waitlist is deleted.

Your rights

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may:

ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
ask us to correct it;
withdraw your consent and have your email address deleted from the waitlist;
complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you think we have handled your information improperly.

Email areviah1@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Deletion requests are honoured — you do not need to give a reason.

Children

This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If a child's email address has been submitted, email us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we handle information we already hold about you, we will email you about it before it takes effect.
